We’ll start from a familiar moment for everyone: the code review!

Let’s say a developer finishes their code and submits it for review by other team members.

This moment can create tension between the person submitting the code for review and those reviewing it.

How should we handle this moment of feedback, where the reviewer might find errors or suggest improvements and needs to communicate them without causing resentment from the person receiving the feedback?

Should we rely solely on written comments? How should they be phrased? What tone should be used?

We know this is a common and hot topic within developer communities, but we can broaden the discussion and ask ourselves: what are the expectations of those working in development? What are the current trends in the field?

And above all, is it true that IT professionals are only good with computers and struggle with interpersonal skills?
